HEAR THE ISLAND
Chief Mustapha has left the island, Mendehun, originally the main town, is under water, Timenihun, the town in the middle of the island, was the first to go. Most of the population have long since left. Some determined residents remain on the diminishing stretch of sand, but the Island as it once was, is no more.
Symphony of a Dying Island is a work in progress, inviting people to listen to the life that was once here.
The physical spaces where these sounds were recorded no longer exist.
